It's that time of the year again when all our dogs say goodbye to games on the sand for another six months... well at least in theory!
Sadly the council choose to ignore the facts that the ban applies only on the left hand side of the beach which is under their governance, and only above the mean water tide too. As the coast path also crosses part of this beach you are fully entitled to take your dog over this part of the beach too.
So it's hard to say "respect the rules" as they aren't really very clear. If the dog warden or angry local or tourist does choose to approach you about this, feel free to politely point out the facts.
